TCMG & ARR Conclave

October 11-13, 2002

The Annual Gathering of the TC Motoring Guild and the Abingdon Rough Riders   Celebrating the 46th year of the two TC only clubs getting together.

Fourteen lovely TC's on the weekend made Cambria even more beautiful.

And 47 Motoring Guild and Rough Riders to make it interesting.

Heading up the coast to Cambria.
Stacy, David's daughter, experiencing her first long driving experience in the TC.     Below are Rick and Judy Storms enjoying the cars and company of everyone upon arriving at Cambria.
Over on the right is Phil acting like . . . ugh, like Phil. If you are not sure which one is Phil, he is the one with the blue hat.
Nancy and Sir Clyde of Cambria wonder what the cups of liquid are for. Harvey and Charlotte enjoy a bite.	The gang smells food and are on the pursuit for the kill. Deana, Gene and Bill enjoy a bite while Bob continues to Age to Perfection
Harvey and Dwane tower over the competition on at least the reading of the rally instructions.   Bob doesn't look too happy about about being told to "Smile for the camera."	Gordon, Jim and Jay discuss, what else, boats. Dwane decides to seek out TC talk. Annabel explains to Bobbie and Ron
"Honest Betty, I am every bit as good looking as the silhouette on the fence."	Martha, Linda, Norma and Annabel reminisce over photos of the recent Alaska cruise the Guild went on.
Bob gives out and explains the rules of the rally the Cambria Mafia put together.	The group listens in disbelief at the instuctions. Frank and Carol decide which of the four different rallys to conquer first.
Gordon trys to give Bill and Dwane some misleading rally information to throw them off track. Bill ignores it.
The scenery along the four rallys was fantanstic. The coast is always beautiful as shown on the right. And then there is Santa Rosa Creek Road with the winding switchbacks that take you up out of the valley.
Frank and Carol still smiling as they come in from the rally. Of course they did the wine rally which helped.

Bob McKarney, Stan & Esther Belland and Barbara Weiss ready for all the funny answers the participants will bring in.

The Judges make there rulings. Bob points out the "casino" connection to Gene and Harvey. Harvey still does not get it.     Bob Wilmer is ready to argue with Ester if she marks something wrong.

With this TC we do wed. (Allan and Linda)	Gordon, Fumi, Dale and Bobbie compare cards and try to swap to get good hands ­ that is until they were caught.

Nancy makes the TC a podium as she gathers support for the girls to take over the club. Actually she was reporting on how the Cambria C.C. Casino Night went and how she knocked evryone dead in her stunning outfit.
Before the various groups headed home many stopped by the gallery where Clarence has his paintings. A second line up of the day occured when we all parked on the road.
