The October minutes were read and approved. Treasures report put us at $5963.98 in the bank but with $2,839.16 of it as unallocated for any specific purpose. Still have holiday party expenses to pay out and newsletter/postage fees. We are now up to 103 members with the recent addition of Mark Heathman from Iowa. We have 41 signed up for the Holiday Party at this time. It would be nice if we could get a few more. |
| The Santa Barbara Sleepover was a great success. Perfect weather, company and accommodations. There were two caravans that went up on Friday. One from Orange County which followed the coast as much as possible and one from Dupars which toured Mulholland and Ojai. Each group enjoyed fantastic scenery and a pleasurable trip. The motel was exceptionally nice (thanks Cindy), the tour was fascinating (thanks Leo & Martha), and the company was stellar (thanks everyone). |

Harvey was not present but it was indicated that his son had moved to France so has lost some of his support help. Planning a Palm Springs event for 2003 was brought up. Everyone liked the idea but didn't want to plan it yet. Will leave it up to after the new board takes over. We adjourned the business part of the meeting at 8:52 and broke for refreshments and conversation. |

Jay Call gave an update on his findings of the ACCC (Association of California Car Clubs). While they would like a donation to their cause, they don't like to return messages regarding information. Jay will persist. Respectfully submitted by: |

Bob Goldstein explained he had a Cadillac that used oil and the dealer insisted everything was to spec and normal. Upon taking it in again, the dealer suddenly decided to keep the car a few days and when Bob got it back it had an new engine in it. |
