| OH WOW. I was not sure what the Simon Auto Museum meant on the flyer but what a treat it was to enter the first room filled with many fine examples antique automobiles, motorcycles, airplanes plus countless old posters, signs and other related auto and movie items. Yes there was a TC, and it was surrounded by Rolls Royces, Bentleys, Fords, Chevys, Cadillacs and others. Was a pure joy to wander around before the meeting started. | ![]() |

Ron brought the meeting to order at 8:15. Minutes of last meeting were read and accepted. Joyce read the treasurers report and indicated we had $4927.77 in the bank and $2027.21 in expected expenses for the remainder of the year which gives us $2971.56 as unallocated. Joyce switched hats and gave us the membership report that we were currently at 101 members, same as the month before. Pete Thelander introduced Lloyd and Carolyn Hendrickson, who recently purchased a blue TC which at one time had been owned by Betty Gaw. Bob Wilmer updated us on the Conclave. 49 people are known to be attending at this point. Should be a grand time. The Santa Barbara Weekend is also taking shape. |

Our Halloween dinner/meeting will be our program for the next meeting in October according to Stan Belland. Bill Young will present auto sales in November and our holiday party is our December program. Stan has done a grand job. Bobbie Simon will get a flyer out for the October menu sign-up. Various Alaskan tour participants gave a great trip description. Made the rest of us wish we had gone too. By-laws are in the process of being revised. Stan Belland and Dave Edgar have made up a draft of the changes that the board will look over before presenting to the Regular members. The smell of the peanuts and popcorn was getting to everyone and so Pete Thelander stated, "I movie that we adjourn." Everyone agreed and we broke for refreshments, more car viewing and visiting before watching the 16mm silent movies of Buster Keaton. |

| The girls probably talking about the benefits of using a richer needle in the SU carburetor. Either that or how the TC gets more attention from their husbands than they do. | ![]() |

Phil is talking so fast that his hands are a blur. Lloyd Hendrickson, David Coleman and Bob Wilmer listen on. |
