| Prez Stan, ushering in a new era of beginning on time, got the meeting underway precisely at 8:00 and jumped right into our mail bag. Seems the Post Office had put a stop to our mail as they had not received payment of the box rental. Joyce indicated she had written to the postmaster to find out what the new rates were and he had not responded yet. A check was written and given to Harvey so he could square things up and get our box back. Also in the mail bag was a note from Bill Stone thanking us for making him feel so welcome last month. |

We dispensed with the reading of last month's meeting minutes as they had been posted in the last newsletter. We then proceeded to the treasurer's report. Our current funds sit at $6,864 but have $4,040 of proposed expenditures left for the year so have $2,824 of reserve to play with. Joyce also gave the membership report of 90 renewed memberships to date. New 2003 TCMG Directories were handed out at the meeting to those in attendance. The remainder would be mailed out the following day. Old business began with Mike Goodman reminding us that Al Moss' Palm Springs event had been moved to November due to heat concerns. Gordon Glass reported that this evenings program would be a PowerPoint presentation by Pete Thelander on his "Hooligan's Diary" related to last year's trip to Scotland. Gordon also related that Meguiars Waxes were not following through on their presentation for May. Mike Goodman indicated he could get someone from PPG Paints to give a rundown on their products for the May meeting. We are still set for the Holiday Party on December 7th. |

Tour Chair, David Coleman was not in attendance but Joe said he would set up a Wildflower Tour for May 10. GoF Long Beach is set for July 21-25. TCMG/ARR Conclave is October 10-12. Mimi Glass said there would be a mini GoF at Rancho Santa Fe on the October 31 weekend for those that were interested. Bob Wilmer was setting up a Chandler Museum tour for May 31. Tony Henkels indicated that raffle prizes were being upgraded and that raffle tickets would now go for 3 or $5. Indeed, there were some nice items to be won. Art Ludwick is going to put in another order for TCMG shirts like were seen at the Holiday Party. We will take orders for the next run. Stan closed the business part of the meeting so we could visit, munch on the great desert Bobbie Simon brought and for Pete to set up his presentation. |

Pete and Fran squeeze out of the small MG PA and pose in front of Dornie Castle. |

Can get a wee bit chilly up there so Pete and Fran put up the hood. The hoods of their jackets and not the hood of the PA, hearty souls that they are. |

Pete and Fran were part of a larger group. The PA they drove belonged to Ernie and Elizabeth Page. Unfortunately Ernie's second PA had problems so they drove a modern car and followed the PAs. |
