Minutes of the February 25, 2003
TC Motoring Guild General Meeting

Rain threatened but a few hardy souls braved it and made it to the meeting where we had a great time. Stan called the meeting to order at 8:10 and then called on Dave to read the minutes of the last meeting. We entertained a motion to dispense with the reading as it was posted in the last Midget Chassis.

Joyce was next up with the treasurer and membership reports. Current bank balance is $7,342. We have $4,998 of expenses budgeted for the year so have $2344 of unallocated funds. Membership stands at 78 renewals to date plus one more that was turned in tonight and with more still coming in.
In our mail bag was a letter from Sarah Ludwick thanking the Guild for the toys donated to the YMCA Wings program.

Various tales from the Lame Duk Kup Kite Fly were related by those that were there. Another great TC day was had by the group and thanks again to Bob Wilmer and Charlotte Wilmer for setting things up.

Gordon Glass was not present to give a programs report but next month we have Bill Motta, art director from Road and Track magazine coming out. He will bring some of his art as well as some of our Guild members bring pieces he has done and have purchased. Should be a great meeting.

David Coleman related he had not gotten one call from the plea in the last newsletter regarding new events. Several ideas came up at the meeting and we will see what pans out. The events that look promising are one to the Gene Autry Museum and a brunch. A weekend in Death Valley, and maybe one to Santa Maria looks good as well as something possible at the Channel Island National Park. Mike Goodman related that he had been in contact with Al Moss and Al was setting up a June trip to Palm Springs to visit Bob Pond's airplanes at the Palm Springs Air Museum and also a private tour of his 110 piece auto collection. The tour will be open to 20 people from Arizona and 20 from the TCMG group. (Moss Palm Springs Event)

Holiday Party date has been set for Sunday the 7th of December. Actual location to be determined but will be in the Northern LA area.

And with that we broke for conversation and dessert by Cindy, followed by tales of how we became hooked on TC's and how we came about to buying our TC. There were some interesting stories to say the least.
