June 21, 2003 General Meeting

The TC Motoring Guild met at Tony and Cindy Henkels home for our annual picnic/meeting affair. We had moved it up one day, to Monday, to accommodate the GoF West schedule better.

Ron, Dee and Ed discussing Ed's current TC (and Ron's old TC).

After eating and chatting Stan called the meeting to order at 8:22. We welcomed Guild members Ed and Dee Koskie from Maryland, who were on vacation. Ed had bought the TC Ron Simon had raced many years ago (but with several owners in between).  Also on hand was new member, Larry Haile who had bought Tony and Cindy's TC and everyone welcomed him into the fold.

First order of business was officially voting in Tony and Cindy as Associate Guild Members since they do not own a TC anymore. The vote was called and it was unanimous to keep them in.

Dave Edgar presented Gene Olsons idea on doing a tour on the Ventura Kinetic Race September 13.  Members thought it sounded interesting and took up Gene's offer of planning it out.

Joyce let everyone know that the treasurers report was available for anyone to inspect.

Tonight was the deadline for placing the shirt orders. (these are the shirts that Art had made up for our last Holiday Party).

Stan promised to keep the meeting short and closed the meeting so we could visit and enjoy Cindy's dessert table.

Dee and Ed Koskie visiting from Maryland.  We learned one TC was not enough for Ed and he had bought a second and will take delivery on it upon returning home.

Three TCs made the picnic. Larry drove his new pride and joy.

And while not pictured, David & Joyce Edgar parked their TC along side to make three.

Don & Sally Yett brought their TC out for the evening.
