Santa Barbara Sleepover
November 2001

Mike Goodman to the group:
I bet if we hoisted a 1500 into it and went with a 4.875 rear ratio we could make this thing MOVE!

Everyone at the Pedersen's
Saturday night gathering was plotting to see if they could get Leo to come over to their house and clean their windows.

Bob: Did the thought
of 70 candles on my birthday cake scare everyone off?

Clarence: No, they're all going through the house checking the smoke alarms as a precaution.

Martha shows off her latest invention - Side door beams for a TC

Gordon and Mimi Glass listening to the docent while seated in the outdoor theater at Lotusland.

Betty and Marilyn also seem to be interested in what the docent has to say.

Well whatever the docent is saying, she sure has the Guild's attention.

Maybe it wasn't the docent that everyone was paying attention to.

Sharon Goodman:

I should have worn a skirt and then I could have shown my leg off too.

Ahh - the famed Lotus Pond. Race you to the doorbell.

Leo explained how new kids in the neighborhood would be dared to run up and ring the doorbell during the dead of night. The pond looked like a lawn when lit by the stars. SPLASH!!

Docent to the group:
Legend has it that Madame Ganna Walska had this pond built as a shrine to the MG TC.

Alan Chalmers:
Oooh - can we touch the water?

Everyone is looking up at the tree they call the Widow Maker. It tends to drop heavy pods on anyone standing underneath. The group is fairly close to the tree. The TC's are way, way, way in the distance. Can't be too careful you know.

Gene and Deana Roth moving their TC just a little further away from the Widow Maker.

This is either an unofficial line up or the real one and our eyes have gone out of wack.
