At this year's event, even in unpredictable weather, 5 TCs a TD and a Probe started the tour in Calabasas, only to be joined by one more TC and an MGB-GT at the destination in Ojai.

The weather im-
proved throughout the day as the brave little caravan drove 82 miles over mostly ideal TC roads, then dined al fresco  at the traditional Soule Park PiqueNique site.

"Where the heck is Satwiwiwa?"

But let the pictures tell the story...........

MGs line up at our first pit stop: Satwiwa Cultural Center (Santa Monica Mts. Natnl. Recreational Area)

"Mine used to look like that, Bob."

Now that's a well traveled TD!

The hearty TC Motoring Guild Octagonarians.

"We heard that barn over there is full of old MGs."

"Where the heck is Saticoy?"

Men to the right; women to the left.

Cars and diners at Soule Park near Ojai.

LEFT: "Really Joe, fois gras  is good for you."

RIGHT: "Is someone eating GOOSE LIVER over there?"

"Is this wine for me?"

LEFT: The elegant Wilmers arrive!
RIGHT: "This is how it's done folks."

"Don't even think about it, Harvey!"

LEFT: Let the games begin!
RIGHT: "This is how it's done, Norma."

The winners of the traditional bottle of fine, Sonoma
"PiqueNique" champagne were never in doubt as Bob and Charlotte Wilmer set a new standard for outdoor dining.

Who will challenge them at the
next TCMG Gourmet PiqueNique?
