Santa Barbara Sleepover

November 15-17, 2002

The Journey UP

On the way up on Friday, Gordon
was worried about his oil pressure
being low so we stopped. The modern
tool kit has a cel phone so he called
Mike for advice. While Mike was on
the phone he asked to speak to Gene to
see how his TC's oil pressure was doing.

As Gordon continued the drive, Mimi
tapped on the oil pressure gauge and
the needle suddenly bumped up. Turned
out to be just a sticky gauge needle.

Friday Night at the Pedersen's Home

Jay and Ron strike up a conversation while
Bobbie, Linda and Deana do the same.
Why isn't anyone eating?

Pete, Fran Allan and Chris hang out in the kitchen.

OK, we now have some hungry members at the table.  Marilyn, Betty and Suzie look things over.

Annabel, Laurie, Mimi Kay and Sharon hang out waiting to see what comes out next.  Sharon believes it will come down from the ceiling.

Anyone recognize this picture hanging in the Pedersen's living room?  Painted by Clarence Weiss, it is a house we saw last month in Cambria while on the Conclave rallye.

The Pedersen's pooch performing for us.

Saturday Morning

Saturday morning was a laid back affair.
Weather was absolutely perfect all weekend.

Gene explains to Betty how she can put 19" wheels on her TF to make it look like a TC.

Jay, David, Susie, Bob and Charlotte enjoy a relaxing lunch on the patio.

Brian prepares the TC for the rallye by cleaning the windscreen.

The Rallye

Leo brief us on the architectural rallye instructions.

Bob scratches his head in disbelief.

Chris and Laurie head out in search of answers.
Likewise, Gene and Brian do the same.

We ended up at a lovely home where everyone could unwind and compare answers.

The home had a splendid view overlooking Santa Barbara and the Channel Islands.

Cream was the popular color this year with 3 out of the 10.
