Klassic Kars Knodlen & Yodelin' Tour
March 27, 2004

Our tour left Burbank and we paralleled 118 through back roads out to Oxnard towards the Chandler Museum. Jay Call piloted Dave Edgar's TC out with a grin from ear to ear. He can't wait to get his TC together now. Jon & Betsy Lutz as well as Gene Olson, also had TC's. Joe Douglas drove his trusty B with Jackie Call navigating. Also in the parade was Harvey Schnaer in his Bentley, Dave & Suzie Coleman in their Mini plus Ron & Bobbie Simon in a BMW. Joe's son, Arnold, brought up the rear with a bright red motorcycle.
Stan & Ester Belland brought out their Jaguar XKE as did Larry Haile who had Ann with him.
At the museum we joined up with the Wilmers and also Jim & Norma Crandall who had their B.
His Excellency Gene Olson sitting in his throne.
Note the Porsche emblem Jon sports on his hat. At least he wore his TC shirt.

I won't even try to do the museum justice here but will show our members drooling over the cars. Visit the museum web page to see all the cars and motorcycles.
Larry Haile and Ann pondering over if this car could possibly fit in Larry's garage.
To the right we have Jackie, Jay, Esther and Gene admiring the interior. Just like a TC - right?

Charlotte and Bobbie think this is the perfect car to haul the grandchildren in. Something with a glass partition between the kids and you.

Stan and Ester plead with occupants for some Grey Poupon.
Harvey recalls all the times he saw these vehicles at Pebbles Beach.
Norma and Esther admire the shinny cars but wonder who does all the dusting.
Joe blends into the crowd.
Ron and Gene wonder if they could fit the engine from this into their TCs.
Charlotte, Esther and Bob enjoy a good laugh.

TC line-up of sorts outside restaurant.
On the way back to the starting point Jackie rode with Jay. She doesn't look too sure about this before the trip but was smiling at the end.
The Guild tradition of dining (or is it a case of just wanting to get out of the cars for a while?)
