Members and guests of the TC Motoring Guild gathered for their annual desert run to the Antelope Valley Poppy Preserve where a wide variety of flowers (and a wider variety of sightseers) were abundant after a record winter rain. Driving TCs were: Tour leader, Joe Douglass, with the Appells, Bundys, Lutzs, Mathisons, Olsons, Simons, and Gene Wescott. Trailing behind in a B-GT were the Crandalls, and bringing up the rear in various vehicles were the Bundy and Munoz families, the Mathison family, Dave and Suzy Coleman, Gordon and Mimi Glass, Bob and Charlotte Wilmer and Harvey Schnaer (with guest driver.)

PIT STOP AT LAKE ELIZABETH

Eight, count 'em, eight beautiful TCs pause at Lake Elizabeth for a pit stop. "Go now, there're no pottys in poppyland."

Same TCs from the other end of the line up, with Joe Douglass's very original EXU leading the pack.

Dave and Donna Mathison arrive with kids, dog.......

.......and pristine TC. (Wait about an hour, folks.)

"Is everyone here? Where's Harvey?

"OK. Proceed to the end of the road, turn right at the T, go 12.3 miles, then left for .9 miles. There should be plenty of poppies right there at the side of the road.
