The 59th annual TCMG / ARR Conclave was held October 9-11, 2015 in Cambria, California.  49 people and 14 TCs took part in the event, while several more TCs were unable to make the journey as planned.  The southern group converged for breakfast in Westlake Village before heading north along the coast.  Arriving in Cambria, much socializing was seen with the help of a food and drink spread brought by TCMG’s first lady of events.

Saturday’s tour sent a line of TCs into the heart of wine country on small twisty roads, stopping at a few wineries along the way.  Then down the hill into Paso Robles where an old town parade temporarily halted the caravan while we watched old cars and machinery parade by.  Most enjoyed a quick lunch in town before continuing on to the Estella Warbird Museum for a tour of the grounds and many exhibits, including a classic and race car collection.  A few tried their hand at the flight simulator with varying results.  The route back to Cambria included scenic back roads with an extra challenging one as an option for the brave, of which there were a few.  The banquet dinner was held at a nearby restaurant in a private patio.  Sunday’s lineup at the hotel included 12 of the participating TCs.
