Mike Simmons presents &#8220;History of the Venus Transit&#8221;.  Mike gave a fascinating talk several years ago on the history of the Mount Wilson Observatory, and then led us on a special tour of the observatory itself.  He is returning on May 22nd for a second presentation on the history of an important astronomical phenomenon which will be happening this coming June.  The talk will be followed up by an event on Mount Wilson where you can see it with your own eyes!  Don&#8217;t miss it, this won&#8217;t happen again until the year 2117!</p>
