TC 6811 was originally purchased by a doctor in England who drove it around Europe. Eventually it found its way to Long Beach, California and was purchased by long time TCMG members Doug & Ilene Wimer on July 31, 1956.  They kept the car and remained TCMG members until their passing (Doug in 2006, Ilene in 2016). Charlie bought the car from the Wimers’ family.
