club-news

It is with a heavy heart that we report the passing of one of our long-time members, Gene Wescott. Gene was an avid TC fan who owned two of them, one to enjoy in Alaska and one here in Southern California. The April newsletter will have more about Gene and his involvement with the club. Our condolences go out to his family and many friends. He will be missed.

Service arrangements will be announced at a future date for those who wish to attend. There are sure to be one or more TCs in attendance. Consider being one of them!

Our weekend event for May already has 29 people signed up.  Get your reservations in before it’s too late!  Also note that the date for our conclave with the Abingdon Rough Riders has been set for October 3-5. See the Calendar Page or the latest newsletter for further details.

meetings

Art Ludwick as Ben FranklinAt our next meeting on March 25, our own Art Ludwick will perform an entertaining and informative talk about the life of Benjamin Franklin. Adding to the experience, Art will be presenting himself as Dr. Franklin himself, in period dress, etc. A photo of Art in full Ben Franklin mode is shown here.

If you’ve ever seen Art as our holiday party auctioneer then you already know how entertaining this will be!

Our February meeting saw four TCs in attendance. Lets top that turnout in March!

See the Calendar Page for more program and event info.

events

20 TCMG members and 6 TCs were in attendance for our March event for brunch and a tour of the Gamble House in Pasadena, followed by pie and coffee at the Henkels’ home.

Our April event at the California Poppy Reserves is still in limbo as we wait to see what the blooms will do this year.  In the event that the flowers do not show, another event will be substituted.  Details on this backup event are still in the works.

For more information, see the Calendar Page or the flyer in our March newsletter.
