2023 TCMG / ARR Conclave

Paso Robles, California

The 67th annual TCMG / ARR Conclave was held October 1-3, 2023 in Paso Robles, California. 27 members from both clubs attended, with 10 TCs and one PA.  Sunday night was for the usual greetings and happy hour in a picnic area at the hotel, after which groups split off for dinner.  On Monday the swarm of TCs headed out for a scenic driving tour through the twisty roads of Central California’s Wine Country before stopping for a gourmet olive oil tasting experience.  The TCs had more olive oil (and related products) in them than motor oil by the time we left, but not before the beautiful location convinced us to take our lineup photo early rather than waiting for the following morning as we usually would.  After a bit more scenic touring, the pack found its way to a facility that restores WWI-era aircraft. A tour of the various hangers and buildings presented dozens of early aircraft, automobile and boat engines, a car collection, wooden boats and more.  That night, a group dinner in downtown Paso Robles ended the day. Having already taken our group lineup photo, Tuesday morning was spent saying our goodbyes and looking at a pack of vintage Italian motorcycles that were sharing the hotel with us. The two groups then parted ways, officially ending the event.
