meetings

NOTE NEW MEETING TIME! Unless otherwise noted, all future meetings will start at 7:00 PM, one hour earlier than in the past. Doors will be open at 6:45.

Our next monthly meeting on July 22 will feature Bill Ippolito, who will speak about his adventures in flying and auto racing. Bill is a retired Delta Airlines Captain, lives in Newport Beach, and is still flying, and currently building an all metal RV-18 2-place airplane in his garage. While living in Dallas, and flying out of Atlanta, Bill started racing a Merlyn Formula Ford open-wheel race car at various tracks in the southeast, ultimately becoming the US importer of many Merlyns.

Our June picnic meeting at the Henkels’ home had 38 members in attendance with 5 TCs belonging to Thelander, Loe, Simmons, Hanes and guest Bata Mataja. Thank you to Tony and Cindy Henkels for hosting another great picnic for the club.

See the Calendar Page for more program and event info.
