Holiday Party Date Announced

The TC Motoring Holiday Party and Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, December 7. The latest details can be found on the Calendar Page.

Old TC Motoring Guild Film Discovered

TCMG Member Jim Crandall has just finished re-editing a 16mm film made by club members back in 1972. Now set to music and with added credits identifying the players, this is a wonderful look into the past of not only our club but Southern California’s car scene as well. The video was screened at our August meeting in San Diego during GoF West, but for those who missed it we present the video here. You can also watch it on You Tube.

meetings

Our next monthly meeting on November 25 brings us a fascinating presentation by TCMG members David Reid and Terry Schuller.  They will be speaking about their business in underwater photography, the equipment and techniques required, and showing examples of their work.  You won’t want to miss this one!

Congratulations to the team of Ron and Bobbie Simon, and Kay and Larry Einhorn for narrowly winning our Halloween Party Brain Twister Competition at the October meeting!

See the Calendar Page for more program and event info.

events

Old Town Music HallOur next event will take place on Saturday, November 8.  We will be visiting Old Town Music Hall in El Segundo where our club will enjoy a collection of Laurel and Hardy silent and talkie movies!  Silent movies will be accompanied by a 1925 Wurlitzer organ.  Lunch precedes the event.  Watch for a flyer in your mailbox with detailed information including meeting place, parking instructions, admission cost and lunch location.  Contact Steve Simmons with any further questions.

The 58th Annual TCMG / ARR Conclave in Sonora this October was enjoyed by 45 members of both clubs. 16 TCs made a showing, plus one MGB and a Jaguar E-Type. Locations for next year’s event are being scouted. If you have any suggestions, send them to our events chair, Steve Simmons.

Please see the Calendar Page for additional information.
