Phil Marino Passes

It is our sad duty to announce the passing of Phil Marino, a long-time TCMG member and devoted MG TC enthusiast.  Phil was a talented machinist whose components are running in many of our cars.  He was a pioneer in the modern, unbreakable axles that we all enjoy today as well as the creator of countless other parts that make our lives easier including spin-on oil filter adapters, brass master cylinders and much, much more.  As a 30-year member of the TC Motoring Guild, he became a friend and mentor to many TC owners and he will be missed by each and every one.

Services for Phil will be held on December 29th.  Contact a club officer for details on time and location.  Also, look to the January newsletter for more about Phil and the people he befriended in his journeys.

meetings

Our next meeting will be held on January 27 at our usual Montrose location.  A video detailing the history of post-war MGs will be shown, including the TC through TF, MGA and racing efforts.  Also meet the new 2015 TCMG executive council!  Doors open at 7:30 PM.  For more meeting and event information, visit the Calendar Page.

events

Our monthly driving events concluded in November with our trip to Old Town Music Hall. 23 members and guests were present, with four TCs driven by Hanes, Loe, Simmons and Spindler. Our thanks go out to everyone who helped organize the various events throughout the year. Suggestions for future events are always welcomed by the club’s Events Chair.

Our next scheduled event will be the Lame Duk Kup in early February. See the Calendar Page for more information.
