Battle Underway For The Earl Sargent Trophy

With the year halfway over, a heated battle is waging for the coveted Earl Sargent “Use it or Lose it” trophy.  The Simmons lead with a perfect attendance thus far, but the Loe team is hot on their heels, only half a point behind.  Who will come out on top?  And where will YOU place in the overall standings come December?  Bring your TC to meetings and events to gain points and climb the ranks!  See the Sargent Award Page for current standings and other info.

New Embroidered Hoodie Sweaters

Our popular TCMG hoodie zip-up sweat shirts are now being embroidered at no additional cost!  Both regular and lightweight versions now feature high quality embroidered logos and can be seen on our regalia page.

events

On Sunday, July 15, spend a day surrounded by classic lines and good friends at one of the best British car shows in Southern California.  Bring your TC if you can, and don’t forget a picnic lunch and a blanket or chairs!  Run by the Central Coast British Car Club, the show is set in the cool ocean breeze at Channel Islands Park in Oxnard.  What better way is there to spend a Summer day?

Those who enter their TC in the show get to park in a shady area on the grass at the picnic location. Look for the TCMG banner over the line of TCs to find us. If entering a car in the show, pre-register by June 30 to save $10 on your entry fee, and get a free event shirt. The show also includes raffle drawings and trophies are awarded for all classes of cars. Food for purchase will be available on-site as well.

Meet at the TCMG banner for our picnic at 12:00 PM.  If you plan to enter your TC, let Steve Simmons know and we will save you a spot by our banner.  The show runs from 9AM – 2:30PM.  Click here for show details and entry form.

June Recap: Eleven members and four TCs participated in our June tour to Santa Paula.  TCs were driven by Crandall, Simmons, Loe and Hanes.  See the upcoming newsletter for more details.
