The Annual Meeting & Holiday Party is coming
Our Annual Meeting & Holiday Party is scheduled for Sunday, December 3rd. See the Calendar Page for details, and be sure to RSVP and send in your meal payments by November 26.
TCMG Wins the Monterey Cup at GoF West Again!
For the second year in a row, TCMG brought home the Monterey Cup from GoF West. The cup is awarded to the single club with the most members in attendance that year. Congratulations to all who attended the event! Also notable is the daughter and son-in-law of David & Joyce Edgar, who in the Edgar’s TC won the Al Moss Memorial High Point Trophy, the premiere award for the event!
TC Provenance List Being Updated and Modernized by TCMG
The well known TC Provenance List was created by TC owner Bob Stein well over a decade ago. Steve Simmons has assisted with data submissions and updates for the past few years but the list has grown too large to manage by hand. TC Motoring Guild has jumped in to help update, modernize and maintain the list. Two of our members, Mike Simmons and Steve Simmons are currently working to convert years of hand typed notes into a sorted and organized database of TC car numbers, owner names, locations and historical data. The project will take a tremendous amount of man hours but the end result will be a fully modern and searchable database, hosted on the TCMG website. You can see the old hand-typed Provenance List HERE until the new version is completed.
Tight Competition for the Sargent Trophy!
The year is more than halfway over, and the battle for the Sargent Trophy has been fierce! The top three competitors are separated by less than 2 points, and all three have had a perfect attendance thus far. Could this be the first time we’ve awarded three Iron Bottoms in a single year?

Our next meeting on November 28th will feature a presentation by Dean Caccavo, who will be speaking about his collection of British vehicles. Learn about the history, restoration and modifications to some unusual cars you may not have heard of before.
This meeting will be held online beginning at 6PM, and members may join 15 minutes early for conversation and settling in. Members who drive their TC 10 or more miles on the day of the meeting will receive a point toward the Sargent Award.
October recap: 33 members and guests attended our October meeting. Six TCs were driven on a simulated journey to a virtual meeting by Edgar, Loe, Lemieux, S. Simmons, M. Simmons and Wilson. Special thanks to Tom Wilson for an amazing presentation on the Wartime efforts and surrounding time frames at the M.G. factory!

Monthly DIY Tours
The November DIY tour runs until the 26th. Our holiday party is coming up in just a few weeks, and the food is BBQ-themed, so your task for this tour is to get a Winter holiday and/or BBQ themed photo with your TC. As usual you don’t have to take things too literally, so be creative and most importantly have fun!
Drive at least 5 miles during your tour to receive a point toward the Sargent Award. Photos must be submitted to Joyce Edgar no later than November 26th to receive points and to be included in the Zoom meeting on the 28th.
